This will be DS' first 4th of July. We're going to my hometown and plan to take him downtown for the big fireworks. He normally is unphased by loud noises and sleeps through them so I'm assuming he'd do the same for this but was curious what your experience was with your LO's.

Last year DD did fine with them.  We haven't seen any this year.  She does have two phrases that make me wonder about this year:  "what's that sound?" and "I scared."  We'll see this weekend I guess.

The last 2 years Emma has slept through them no problem..last year we even tried to keep her awake to see them and she fell asleep on my lap and missed the whole show.
