Does anyone have experience with a diaper service in South OC? We are thinking about cloth vs. disposable. Also, has anyone tried the Target brand up & up?
I have tried Target Up & Up and they are OK. Not great. I fimd he pattern on them annoying, but that's kinda silly. But, I only tried them for overnight (12+ hours), not during the day. They small strongly of pee when the girls get up, and we did have one leak.
We love Pampers Swaddlers, and still have 2 large boxes left before we're going to try to switch to something cheaper (maybe Luv's?). I hear Up & Up are not good for the really small sizes (NB-2), though.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Ditto Kim's review of the Up & Up. I bought them once but wasn't impressed for the savings. We used Pampers Baby Dry for DD.
We are CD'ing #2 and I'm using BG 3.0s. Have you considered CD without a service? It is more cost effective than using one but then, of course, is the issue with more laundry.
I use cloth but i wash my own for the cost savings. A diaper service will run you about the same price as disposables.
I use BumGenius 3.0. They are a pocket diaper so I have a shell that I stuff with a microfiber insert. Once they're stuffed they work just like a disposable except that you don't throw them out- you wash them.
I have a kid in size 5 now and we used up and up and loved them. he also wore them in size 3 and 4 and they worked great. I would compare them to huggies..in those sizes. I can't speak for anything smaller.
