Wrap questions

Hi.  I am a frequent lurker on the board.  I am really want to to buy a woven wrap.  I have been reading on here and on the Babywearer forums, but  I am still confused about sizing.  There are some BBslens on sale on Nova Naturals that I am interested in, but I don't know what size to order.  I read the post on babywearer about sizing, but I don't really get it as a wrapping newbie.  Is it okay just to order big (a size 6) so I have all the options?  Or is fit really important, so going to big would be a problem?  Sorry for the beginner questions.  Thanks for any help you can give.

I would say with wrapping, erring on the side of bigger is always better. BBSlens tend to shrink quite a bit when you wash them- so if you bought a size 6 (4.6m) it'd wind up being more like a size 5 (4.1m). I had this happen to me, and sold the smaller wrap and bought the 4.9m size. If, as you get better at wrapping, you find you have too much fabric, you can always find someone to hem it for you (or do it yourself, if you can sew.)

Thanks Tonya.  It seems like a size 6 will work well.  Now the most difficult choice - what color to buy.

Yeah, that's always the toughest part! I love my pink pepper and blackberry grey.

Turkish Delight is the best color ever!!!!!!!!!!!  :-) It doesn't look like much on the NN website, but if you look for some pics on TBW it looks so much prettier.  ... Ya know... if you like that color.  

I'd like to try a pink peppermint or green peas next!

I am between Blueberry and Blue Curacao.  I like the Blue Curacao a bit more but the Blueberry is on sale.  I am feeling guilty about spending the extra money.  Unfortunately the Turkish Delight is sold out or I think that would be my choice.  One cool thing is that I do not have to pay shipping as I can pick up at the store here in VT.
