Trouble TTC

I hate pads

After the surgery my RE said I could not put anything in my vagina until after my post-op visit which is scheduled for 7/6.

AF arrived yesterday and I am stuck wearing pads.  Ugh!  Pads are the worst.

Re: I hate pads

  • I actually switched back to them after years of using tampons, I think I prefer them.

I hate them, too!  I had to use them after my lap.

I haven't used them since I was in school they suck!

Sorry to hear that, how did you surgery go?

Surgery went good and all the polyps were removed.  My uterus is now ready for IVF.  Recovery has been really easy (except for the pad situation).  LOL!

I prefer them for nighttime use, and when I get home from work I always get rid of the tampon and switch to a pad. I find them much more comfortable sometimes.

Comfort isn't really the issue for me.  I usually leak out of pads in a strange way.  I just don't understand how the whole pad can be dry but blood somehow finds its way to the upper part of my butt where there is no pad.  How does that even happen?  Confused

  • I know what you mean.  I'm a faithful tampon user and hate pads.  No  tampons and no sex for three weeks.  My DH is not so happy about the no sex.
  • I agree but have been in similar shoes.  I can recommend the always thin pads - they do actually work and are as thin as can be.  GL!

I just LOLed.  I guess they work for me better because my flow is so light?  I started getting pains from tampons so I eventually made myself switch, and I was so glad that I did. I just keep feeling like I too a step backwards. oh well.
