My 2nd baby shower is supposed to be Sunday--a lot of people hadn't replied (they did evite)--and now some of the people who hadn't RSVP'd but told me they should be able to make it said they can't.

So, it's the 2 girls throwing it, my mom, MIL, SIL, and 3 other friends.  One other person said maybe.  Would you still have it or wait to do it sometime after the baby is born?

For future reference, the weekend before the fourth of July is apparently when everyone goes on vacation, so don't plan anything then!

Totally different situation, but might help your decision...My niece was born before her shower was scheduled, and so we delayed it a bit and then had a wonderful shower that everyone loved because the baby in question was the guest of honor!  It was very fun!

I would still have it since the girls throwing it have already planned it and it is only 3 days away.

Thanks for the input, I decided just to have it--and now another person is able to come, yippee!  :-)
