Sister Update

Hello everyone!

I wanted to give an update on my sister, Kimberly. She has been doing better. She came off of the ventilator on Tuesday and was moved into a regular room on Wednesday night. We were told yesterday that she would probably go home in 3-4 days.

Well, my mom called this morning and they had a setback last night. Her incision site had an abscess (infection), so they had to open the entire incision back up. Right now, it is still open to drain. To make things worse, they did this while Kimberly was completely awake and according to mom, was in excruciating pain. I think mom is pretty shook up from the entire experience.
