I got an email from a college friend that they are going to TTC. She claimed for years that she'd never have biological kids and maybe none at all, but I knew it was only a matter of time. I will be 100% thrilled for her no matter how quickly it happens for her, but it is still going to sting a little. I know that sounds selfish and I can't really explain it, it was just easier when my "need to avoid pg people" moments weren't going to include any of my friends for quite a while.

2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Re: yeah...so...(not a BFP announcement)
That is tough. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry L. It is tough when anyone close to us get's PG when we want it so badly for ourselves. ((hugs))
BTW, I had a good time last night! It was so great to meet you IRL!

I'm sorry. I know how hard it can be with close friends/family members PG. It is also hard to find out that they weren't comfortable telling you they were trying. My sister had her third child last year. She got PG one month after stopping BCPs. I was happy for and love my niece, but sometimes it is harder to talk to her. I love hearing about my niece and nephews, but right now it is really hard to hear about. If I could have gotten PG that easy, I would have my own baby right now.
My SIL just got married to her long time boyfriend. He proposed and then the wedding was a couple of months later. The hold up for him proposing was that he wanted kids and she didn't. Now, she is willing to have at least one child. Anyhow, we have never been invited over for dinner at their place. Now, this week, she is having us and my FIL and his wife over for dinner on Sunday. I am pretty worried that she is going to tell us she is PG. Today is their one month anniversary.
Sorry. I didn't mean to hijack the post. This has been on my mind for some time. ((hugs))

very true...this may become a vent about my temp dip today. Of course, that would make all the reponders look crazy

(((hugs))) I don't think it sounds selfish at all. Unfortunately we've all felt that exact feeling of being genuinely happy for someone else, but sad for ourselves at the same time. It's perfectly normal & o.k. to feel that way.
Literally ALL of my married friends and family have had a baby within the last 6 months or so.. So help me if any of my single girlfriends get pregnant before me!!
By the way I just couldn't make myself temp my past break cycle. I did use the CBEFM though. Props to you for that.
TTC since 1/2008
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
My pregnancy after Infertility Blog
Our baby girl was born on April 27, 2011!
I wouldn't delete this, it might help her understand what you go through!
(((hugs)))
Been there! That sucks.
In fact, I'm going to see a friend tonight who is pg with twins. They started two months after we did. She's due in September. She has no idea we've been trying at all, so there's no filter.
TTC #1 Since July 2009 slightly low progesterone, endo, kinked right tube, Clomid, Lap and Hysteroscopy, and 13 months TTC = BFP! (7/23/10) Cautiously Expecting... 8/19/10 - it's TWINS!... 11/8/10 - Boy/Girl twins! Born 37w4d
Yeah, it is better knowing than getting the news out of the blue.
