NIFR - Recommend a drink

Tomorrow I am meeting some friends on their boat in the Chesapeake.  I would love to bring a tropical like alcoholic drink of some sort.  Something a little out of the ordinary that can be premixed at home and then add the alcohol right before serving.  Either that or something fairly simple with a cutesy name.   Trying to avoid carrying tons of bottles.   Any suggestions?

I don't see any reason you couldn't pre mix this:

For each drink:

2 shots of citrus vodka

2 shots sour mix

1 shot cointreau (triple sec will also work)

1 shot raspberry flavored liquor (not Raspberry Pucker though!)

Not traditionally tropical, but so pretty and pink and tasty. I had a drink like this at a bar in Philadelphia once, and this was as close as I was able to get to replicating it.

my friends and i all LOVE this concoction and bring it everywhere we go, and it's rightfully so named "party girl punch". you can mix it in an insultaed thermos and bring it along!

1 can pink lemonade (frozen concentrate), 1 2 liter bottle Sprite and 1 pink lemonade can full of Capt Morgan spiced rum (or more)! Mix well and serve over ice

When I think of "tropical," I think of pineapple, papaya, lassion fruit, mangos and coconut (I don't like coconut).

Based on that, I would recommend Mango Madness.  Check and see if your freezer section has mango juice mix.  If not, blend frozen mango pieces until nice and smooth.  Mix 1 part Rum (or Vodka especially ones infused w/ mango!)  to 2 parts of the mangos.  Shake.  Once you arrive, Mix that with sprite or gingerale.  YUM.

If you are looking for something totally different, my favorite is the Peach Pit.  It's equal parts of Peach Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Triple Sec, and Cranberry juice.  You can mix it all just shake before serving over ice.

i used to bring a bottle of diet pepsi and a bottle of malibu on the boat. mix it in a water bottle.
