NPR: Parking lots

I park in almost the same spot in just about every place I go. I park outside the same door at work, the same door at the mall, a certain row at the grocery store, Target, etc. Do you?

I always feel like I will have a hard time finding my car sometimes if I park someplace else.

  • I don't. I also do not ever worry about losing the car. For some reason, I always know where I parked. Even when we go to travel, DH knows not to worry because, "Mommy has a built in GPS." Apparently I have a built in radar, too. I think he takes for granted that I know where the car is. He watches me when we are walking to the van. One of these days I am going to take him out the wrong door of the mall on purpose. Just for fun!

  • I do the same thing.  At work I park in the same general area of the sturcture, the same row for swim class, etc.  Especially if I have the kids, I get so busy with getting myself and the kids and our stuff out of the car, that I don't pay enough attention to where I am.

  • I definitely park in the same area at work because after 12 hours, I sometimes forget where I'm parked if I didn't. At stores I go to often, I have PREFERRED areas where I like to park, but I don't always park there.

  • I park in the closest spot...not always at the same entrance.  I HAVE "lost" my car before (I think twice).  One time I really thought someone stole it!  lol
