Hello everyone!  I hope you're all doing well. 

Not much new to report this week.  I have my next OB appointment on Monday and will take the 1 hr Glucose test as well as have an internal exam to confirm that I am okay to travel for work the following week.  I've been trying to go for a walk every evening after DD goes to bed, although some nights it gets too late, but I think it is helping some with the moodiness - I just need to do it more.

DD has been such a fun and sweet little girl the past week, it has been a real joy to be with her.  She has very recently gotten interested in playing with 2 twin baby dolls my ILs gave her.  She feeds them, rocks them, sings to them, and loves to take them out for a walk in their stroller in the evenings with DH and I.  I tear up whenever I watch her playing Mommy like that - it is so sweet to watch and makes me so excited to see her with her baby brother. 

Vacation to Myrtle Beach in 2 weeks and I cannot wait!!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

I had my 30-week appointment this morning and I lost a pound--I think it's from the 90+ degree heat in Hotlanta for the past 2 weeks!  My belly has definitely gotten bigger during that time.  At my next appointment (32 weeks) I start the weekly ob appointments with the contraction/heartbeat monitoring for 20-30 minutes and the weekly u/s at the mat-fet specialist.

Hi, everyone!  I am having GIRLS!!  I am very excited, but I am working hard to keep the clothes shopping to a minimum!

We found out the gender early because I have an in-depth u/s at the MFM every month.  We'll be back in four weeks for the official anatomy scan and are keeping our fingers crossed for everything to be good.

It's been a while since I posted in the weekly update. Doing well these days. Passed my GD testing with flying colors. Had my first growth ultrasound and everything is perfect. If I could get my scanner working I would actually scan in my 3D that I got because she doesn't look like a crazy alien in it. Doing well and moving along (at least this little one is moving along...a lot of moving along).

Hi everyone...just got back from appt 1 for me today, regular monthly ob appt, everything was good, they said i have only gained 10 lbs so far and I am thrilled, because with DS I had gained ~50 lbs, and still haven't lost all of it (still sort of fluffy)...lol  So my goal for this pgcy was to keep it to no more then 20ins which I am on the right track for!  later I have an appt with the peri to do another u/s to try to finally get all the pics of her, she has not been very cooperative!  this is my 3rd appt with the peri in 3 weeks...just to get all the pics...

I'm Seahorse Mama.  Due Sept.9th with a girl!  Super excited.  36yrs. old.

Today is 29 weeks.  yippee.  I think I passed the GD screening from two weeks ago.  Heard nothing from the midwives and they say no news is good news.  I am SO happy to be pregnant.  We've been trying for awhile-my partner is a woman so we used a (known) donor.  Just started our birth classes with a renouned author of natural childbith books. Love it.  Loving lots right now-even that nesting instinct starting to kick in when practically nothing's been done around the house yet. yikes!

I've been lurking for a while and would like to join. I just turned 36, expecting our first kidlet, a boy, due 10/15/2010. Didn't plan to be a mum, but things are good so far. We're starting to feel a little overwhelmed with the world of baby gear!

Hey everybody, I am doing pretty well after a rough week. Brigid had a virus and a high fever from Saturday night until yesterday and Tuesday I had to have an emergency root canal because I lost a filling. My neck is also doing it's usual thing where it feels like I have a pulled muscle so I can't turn my head. I really didn't want to have all this dental work but from what all the docs say and my obsessive googling it seems it's a pretty safe time if I have to do this stuff pregnant. I just wish our tenants weren't moving out this month, we really rely on that income and it's totally stressing me out.

Okay, vent over, Mommy is fine, and baby is fine, that's all that matters.

No update this week.  Going to do 3 hr glucose tomorrow am, as requested by  peri even though my numbers were great from 1 hr. See OB next week for regular visit, NST and u/s. Man I can't ait for august.  I think all the u/s and added info I get from peri make me want to hurry along even more.

Last day of work is coming up soon, since they hired a permanent unit secretary, so looks like I will be off starting 7/2, unless they come up with something for a couple of weeks.  OB is cool with it, said we'll write up something for preterm labor and start you when you tell me.

For the past couple of days have ben having right rib/flank pain.  If I still have it tomorrow, will stop in after Glucose test

Hello Everyone. Hope all are doing well. I have my next regular OB appointment next Wednesday, and I have a feeling that the doctor isn't going to be too happy with me. This is the first time that she let 2 weeks go between visits since I was diagnosed with GD, and she told me not to let her regret it.......Well, my numbers have been outta what at least 5 times this week since my trip to L&D Saturday night. I've been watching my carbs and all, but I'm chalking it up to stress. We'll see how it all turns out.

ScoobyM: Have a Wonderful trip to Myrtle Beach!!! My DH and I went there for our honeymoon, and it was AWESOME!!!!

Hi, I just posted, but for the official record , I'm ISOPROUD (Diane), due 10/23/10 *but doctor is inducing a week early due to history* and we are having a boy!  I've been calling him THOR until DH will discuss proper names (lol - it worked, and I think he will be some sort of Max).  Anyone here older than me?  I don't feel that old, but my first child could definitely have children, lol.  I've been through the initial HCG level horror, "can't see a baby" pictures, soft marker for Downs and amnio that I didn't want, but knew I couldn't do without (I'm a planner) - turned out baby is perfect.  I've gained 20 pounds, have feet the size of a platypus, but otherwise doing really well.   Wishing everyone else healthy and happy months....

Nothing too new here on the pregnancy front. I'm suppers to have my 1 hour glucose test on Tuesday, but I'm going to have to reschedule as my DS is having an endoscopy to confirm that he has Celiac Disease on Tuesday. We are SO grateful for the diagnosis and can't wait to start our new gluten-free diet. The poor kid is miserable and skinnier than skinny. It has been a really ROUGH few weeks for all of us, but DH and I are finally starting to feel better about it all. Celiac is totally manageable and although it will be a big change for us, DS will grow up never really knowing the difference. Please think good thoughts for us on Tuesday. Not much to report here. I'm starting to have blood pressure issues, so my Doctor is running a bunch of blood work and urine testing to check my Kidneys. It's way too early for this nonsense.
