Cycle start question (TMI)

I go in for my CD 3 bloodwork and I am totally confused.  I thought I was starting my cycle yesterday.  I had spotting and blood on tp.  Well now it's barely anything.  Spotting mostly, certainly not what it should be for day 2.  Now I have my bloodwork tomorrow and I'm worried the numbers will be off.  I don't know what to do.  Does it count as day 3?

    If it's any consolation, we did my baseline u/s and b/w on CD2. It was a Friday. RE told me it doesn't have to be on CD3 but he does shoot for it.
