Tell me about the 3 month growth spurt

I think we're getting close to this "milestone".  I nursed Stella for almost an hour straight last night and she has been a little fussy lately.  She's still sleeping 8-9.5 hours/night, and I'm hoping that won't change! 

I've heard this growth spurt is worse than the others for whatever reason.  Did that hold true for you or was it really just eating more?

Well, Elizabeth didn't sleep more than a couple hours at a time until 5.5 months.  So I don't really remember if her sleeping got worse or not around that one...it was all kinda a blur.

I think the worse nursing time period for us was when she started to become interested in her environment.  If I remember right, that was around 3 months.  But maybe it was 4?  If I was not diligent about nursing without distractions, she would eat less and make up for that at night time.
