please recommend your baby jail

H simply is not happy anymore in the playpen or the jumperoo. Now that he's mobile he wants to be on the floor, but I need some way to confine him. 

Can anyone recommend a play yard thingy? And do I really need two of them to string together? FWIW, we do not have a "great room" in our house and I'm not sure how big these things are when they're assembled.

We have two Superyard XT sets and probably have 1 plus 1/3 of them put together to form a square at the moment.  The Superyard has served us well so far, although we have broken the plastic on one panel a little bit.  They are expensive so if you can find a used set on CL or your local board, it's definitely worth it.  I think I got our two sets for something like $40 total.

I have a Superyard XL (I think) with the extension kit (2 extra panels).  It worked great for both of my boys until they were well over a year old.  I love it because it folds down so we were able to take it on several vacations with us.  I haven't had any issues with the plastic breaking.  We now use it to gate of the formal dining room so they can't get in there so we've gotten a TON of use out of it.

I got mine new at Wal-mart.  It was either $10 or $20 cheaper than BRU because the box was different!!  I called the company because of the significant price difference and they said it's the same fence.  This was back in late 2008....

We have one step ahead lil playzone with lights and music. You would need two xtensions......we have 3 bec we have a 5-6 child playgroup. The right start sells it with free shipping, osa charges oversize shipping ....
