NBR: quick cooking question

I'm no Julia Child, and I looked up my question online but still can't find the answer. So I need some help!

We froze some jambalaya, and yesterday I moved it to the fridge to have tonight for dinner - it's still a little frozen.

How do I cook it? Should I microwave it on defrost for a few minutes, and then cook on high in the microwave? Can I put it in a pan on the stove?

Maybe on my maternity leave I should invest in some basic cooking lessons...

  • If you can get it out of the container, I'd pop it in a pan and heat it on the stove. Put the lid on if you want it to heat quicker.

This is what I was going to suggest. :-) Hope it turns out well for you.
