Today is my first day home alone with a 17 month old and a 12 day old. I'm in the minority and chose to take DD#1 out of daycare during my maternity leave. So far so good....although it's only hour 5
This was me back in Sept.! It only get easier, and I think the most difficult moments were when they both needed me, but wearing Lucy was a life saver! Everything went smoothly until I broke my wrist and required surgery when Lucy was 3 weeks old! Now that I'm all healed up, if I'm feeling overwhelmed, I just think, this would be so much harder with only one hand! haha Good luck and congratulations! You can do it!
Me too! My DH went back to work today. I think timing is everything...I just have to get that down...at lunch they both needed me and it was crazy! Now they are both sleeping and I am loving it...lol GL!
just remember that practice makes perfect. So the more often you take the kids on your own, the better you will get at attending to their needs on your own. Tell the hubby the same thing so he gets comfortable too.
You can do it! Keep trying different things. It gets easier everytime you leave the house, but you have to leave the house! Do not stay in all the time!

Stay positive!
