.. There WOULD be a time that underwire would not be my friend, and that time is now. The bras I bought two months ago make me feel like I cant breathe, between the band size and the underwire.. now that my belly and boobs meet when I sit. Started out a 32.. went to a 34.. now a 36 (cup size remained the same, much to DH's dismay.) I went and bought a cheapie bra from Walmart last night without underwire; I'm not spending any more money on bras that probably wont be around long anyways.
I found the same thing! But I was able to find some wonderful non-underwire bras at La Vien Rose (sp?) for around $25 that feel scrumptious and look good. In fact DH says he prefers them to my regular underwires!
Try buying a band extender. I had to do that, my cup size never went up but my band size did but I didn't want to spend money on a new bra. I think it was $5 at Motherhood Maternity.

I should have done that the first time when I went from 32 to 34.. when the underwire wasnt digging into my skin. When I bought the 34's, I got the kind that clasp in the front so that wouldnt work at this point
Ah I need a band extender. Well I really think I need a bigger cup size too but I think if I went up in band size the cup size would be bigger. There's no way I believe a 32C and a 34C are the same cup sizes. I think when I go to a 34 I'll be going back to a B.
If you plan to BF you can also get wireless nursing bras. You will need them anyway. Motherhoods sleep bras are awesome too! Sooo comfy (but no support really).
