What's the 24hour weight gain worry level?

Is it 2 lb or 3 lb? 

I'm in hell. I don't want to call the nurse (again) if I don't need to. I feel like sh*t though.

Well they found fluid in my abdomen before transfer and almost didn't go through with it. At that point my only symptoms were some bloating.

Now a week later, I feel like hell. I'm dizzy, EXTREMELY bloated (I mean huge), I've gained 2.5 lbs since yesterday, I'm nauseous and I feel really full all.the.time. I also have a few headaches.

I talked to the nurse earlier and she reminded me that symptoms peak around 7-10 days after ER and hcg (which if this IVF worked should be increasing) can cause symptoms to worsen.

I feel awful but I don't know what to do. I don't think I need a nurse paged but god I need to feel better than this or I might die.

I have had the symptoms for 3 days now.  I've been dizzy and very nauseous.  They gave me a prescription a day before ER which helps but cost $212.  They also prescribed something for nausea, but it was $200!  It really helps, but only for a few hours.  I've been stuck in bed.

They say to call if you get very distended looking like you are already pregnant or have a high fever.

My sheet lists the following:

a) severe cramping, spotting, or discharge that exceeds 2 dyas post ER

b) any sudden onset of pain or severe bloating of the abdomen

c) weight gain in excess of 5 pounds or shortness of breath

d) fever 101 or greater, chills, excessive nausea or vomiting, foul smelling vaginal discharge

c) change in bowel or bladder habits

sounds like a BFP is in your future!  

If they page a nurse, what can she do for you over the phone?  She's going to tell you gatorade, V8 and chips right?  If it's that bad..maybe go straight tot he ER?

I'm only 1 day past ER and I feel bloated, bruised and def gained like 3lbs.  This should be fun.  Good times

Well the belly is fully extended. at least 16 weeks pg, prob more like 20. It's ridiculous.

If I call a nurse she will either send me to the ER (not fun and will panic my mom and DH to no end) or schedule an U/S for tomorrow (1 1/2 hour drive, also not fun). 

Ugh!

She may call in a prescription that treats the OHSS.  Mine is called Cabergoline.  It made a HUGE difference for me.

It can't hurt to ask!

Id call the RE. You dont want to risk it. Hope you feel better sweetie!

When I had it, I gained 5 pounds in 24 hours. This happened two days in a row so I gained about 10 pounds in all.

Have you already called the doctor? If you haven't, and you're really uncomfortable, then I would call. 

Feel better hon.. and keep drinking that Gatorade

Same here, 1 day post ER and about a 2-3 weight gain. Every 4 hours when the tylenol runs out i feel pains on my right side and cramps. And when I finally "#2'd" I think I pushed out a clot or something and have had minor spotting since then. Eek. Hope everyone feels better. I will be checking every ones updates post ER because I am over analyzing myself as well. They canceled my tranfer before trigger because of my high e2.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry.  I had mild OHSS after my last IUI and I felt like I was gonna die so I can't even imagine what anything other than mild must feel like.  I hope the sh*tty feeling passes soon, hon.

I had extremely severe OHSS (10 day hospital stay) and I think you should definitely go to the RE in the morning and get checked out.?
