XP: Deflated, and dissappointed :(

Oh boy..was't expecting this...

I just woke up from my long nap. Umm..I got  to the RE had my valium and versed. The RE doing the procedure was not mine it was his partner. He did the U/S prior to Egg retrieval...um I had alread ovulated. I have NO follicles left for egg retrieval.

I am sooo disappointed...we did an IUI with the understanding that I had already ovulated and the chance of it working is slim. I had 4 beauties on Wednesday, on Friday they are gone. I did everything down to the minute that they tlod me. I can't even believe  this.

talk about an uncooperative ute and ovaries... I have never heard of this in all my reading of the bump! I have been crying since we got home!

has anyone expierenced this or heard of such a thing??? I wonder if I am the only freak!

    BFP #2 on 6/20/10 after Gonal-F and TI First u/s showed Twins! 
    TTC#2 since 02/2012 with out RE...

    Holy Crap that does sucks and it has happened.

    It happened to Koyn, she's usually around later at night if you want to page her.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Oh my gosh. I am so, so sorry. I had a fear of this happening to me during my last cycle. Will you get to move forward with another cycling using what you had already paid to your doctor? Big (((hugs)))

    Oh no.  I am so sorry.  That is terrible.

    I hope that the IUI was in time, but I am so so sorry you are going through this.  I can only imagine how frustrated you must be.

    Im so, so sorry. I took my ovidrel last night and they had me take Ganirelix with it. My nurse said the ganirelix taken with the ovidrel will keep you from O'ing early. What did they have you on to keep you from O'ing? I sure as hell hope you dont have to pay for the cycle. I hope the IUI works, 4 good follies for an IUI is hopeful.

    That is horrible. It was one of my biggest fears. I hope the IUI was a least in time. I'm so sorry.

    TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
    2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
    IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
    IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN :(
    IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
    Lap 7/21/10
    IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
    FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!

    They said that the money left over will be refunded.  I have no idea how much that is. To be honest, I am sure they are going to charge us for IUI.

    I guess I really need to just breatheand relax. And as my mantra states: "ONWARD!"

    That sucks, I am so sorry. I have heard of it happening a few times. My RE told me about it, too, and said it is possible. I am praying for a miracle IUI for you!

    I am so sorry.  I know this happened to Koyn last year.  It is a very sucky thing to endure. I'm going to hold out hope that the IUI will work.

    Hi Baze.  I am so sorry that this happened to you.  I have been gone from the boards but I decided to jump in on this one.  This exact same thing happened to me with my last IVF cycle.  My doctor decided to have the retrieval 37 hours after the trigger instead of 36.  She wanted to take the risk of getting more mature follicles.  What she didn't expect was that they were also running and hour and a half late that morning, so I ovulated on my own.  So it does happen.  You are not the only freak out there!!!
