Hi!
Thank you all so much for the messages you left in my anxiety post. The ET went ok. We were planning to transfer 3 but, shocker, we didn't have 3 to transfer. All had ceased growing except 2. The 2 left were a full day behind in development (looked like Day 4s), but otherwise he said they were "not great but good."
I'm so grateful we had 2, I really truly am. But I can't help but wonder if my rate of embryos that die is some kind of indication that we have a genetic problem. No matter how many embryos we start with, by transfer 80% aren't developing anymore
Anyway, I guess if this one doesn't work we'll consider PGD for the next and final IVF.
For now, I'm on bedrest watching the history channel and eating chicken pot pie
Thanks again for all of the well wishes!

I hope your 2 embies snuggle in!
Quick question - how would PGD help? Do you think there is more going on than just a quality issue?
I'm wondering if that is the case. I've had a total of 15 embryos across my three IVFs. None of them have ever been AA or AB. I've had one BB, and it was a slow grower. Now these two were BCs and a day behind in their growth. I just am having a hard time swallowing the fact that we haven't seen even one good embryo in the bunch.
Then again, I don't know how normal or abnormal ours are, I just keep comparing to all the other girls online... so maybe it's just paranoia. My RE did mention PGD for next time if we wanted to.
TTC since August 2008
IVF#1: BFFN; IVF#2: BFN; FET with new RE: BFN
IVF#3: ER 1/15; ET 1/20; Beta#1 1/29: 339!
Twins girls born via c/s at 37w/3d!!
"Let it go, this too shall pass."
I hope the two you have are snuggling in tight!! I'm sorry you didn't get the three you were hoping for, but my RE says that on average on 20% of fertilized eggs make it to blast... so here's hoping those that didn't make it were just part of the statistics and the two left are sticky!
Thank you for saying that!
I hope those embies are snuggling in tight!
Good luck!
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!

After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I'm glad you had two to transfer and sending a ton of well wishes! Snuggle in, Little Embies!!
