first u/s

How early was your first u/s and what did you see?

I can't recall when our first one was. I'm asking for a friend who is very early pregnant, they're not exactly sure how far along, but they only saw a sac on the (vaginal) u/s yesterday. They were told that it could be too early, and naturally they are very upset.

Both my first u/s was in the 6th week. At that point we saw a little blob, and yolk sac.

My RE only does them at 6.5wks or later...

I had my last one at 6wks exactly and saw a h/b but it just had started.

Thank you both for your responses. We're almost positive that she's only about 5 weeks.
