Boo Hiss. Pain is back.

At least this morning it feels a little less stabby than it did yesterday.  Still hurts like a mo fo though!

And I feel like a bad mommy for drugging up myself which in turn drugs up my baby just so I don't have to be in pain anymore. Poor BP floating around in a haze.

This totally made me picture the scene in Look Who's Talking when she gets the demerol in labor and the baby looks at his hand and comments on the "cool" way it looks.

LOL  That's what I was picturing too.  Poor BP!  I think she slept well last night.

I'm sorry your pain is back.

If I lived closer, I'd bring Maggie over and we'd make you some meals and keep miss Em entertained for you.

I can bring her to daycare if I need to today.  Overall I think we will just have a nice relaxing day at home coloring and watching Elmo!

Oh and last night when I left the hospital they said, "now get lots of rest, and don't do anything strenuous...like pick up your baby."  Uh...yeah how am I suppose to not pick up my baby today?

Ugh, that sucks!  I hope they can find out what's causing the pain and make it go away.

Just wanted to say I hope you feel better I know what you mean about baby floating around in a haze.. the hospital gave me demerol and morphine when i was in extreme pain from the kidney infection/appendicitis.. and then they gave me the "magic button" to hit after surgery, which i really really tried hard not hit. The nurses and doctors kept telling me it was fine, that he was fine, and my body would act as a filter for him as best it could... They also reminded me that helping my body relax would help it heal faster. It stinks you're going through this.. pain sucks to begin with but its worse when you're worrying about your baby too.
