I don't know if any of you remember BenandDina, who used to post here before getting her BFP. Unfortunately her pregnancy ended tragically when she delivered her twins at 24 weeks gestation. Her daughter passed almost immediately afterwards and she and her husband made the painful decision to remove their son from the vent due to extensive brain damage. My heart absolutely breaks for him and don't know how you pick up the pieces after such a devastating loss.
Her tragedy is a reminder to me that as challenging as the past 6 months have been for us, J is alive, does not have brain or spinal cord damage, he did not have any limbs amputated, he has received excellent medical care and rehab services, we have been very well taken care of by his father and stepmother (although we are planning to move out soon), we have not suffered financially as a result of the accident and G-d willing,we will both have our lives back in a little while.
Re: Putting things in perspective
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear about the tragedies she's had to deal with. I don't remember her and she probably got her BFP before I started posting, but my heart just goes out to her and her husband. And anyone that's gone through similar heartbreak!

It is so heartbreaking what Dina and her H are going through. It is so unfair. She went through the hell of IF and then to lose her babies. So freakin unfair. I just cant fathom how these things can happen to good people.
Molly - your strength and attitude amaze me. You will survive your H's recovery process and come out stronger.
