So we decided not to find out the gender of baby #2 so we're playing with some names..just looking for suggestions...

Our daughter is Brae Elizabeth P

BOY:

Gavin Joseph is my top choice (my fathers name is Joseph - as well as brother and grandfather)

****HERE is where I need the most help***

Please suggest a name (NO -in; -en; -an names)

____?______    Derr   P  (OLD family name on my husbands side and her really wants to use this middle name)  

 

Girl:

Casen Avery P (top name choice but NO family ties)

____?_______ Dorothy P (my grandmothers name who raised me)

Please no 80's names: i.e. Kelly, Donna, Heather, Brittany, Cindy - more along the lines of Hannah, Brae, Madison...

You have a lot of qualifications that make it hard to think of possiblities - what I might not consider an 80's namy you might (never would have thought Heather was 80's). 

Have you tried putting the names you like into nymbler.com?  It will offer up suggestions (either boy or girl) based on the names you give it.

I'm confused. Gavin ends in "in" and Casen ends in "en" and are your top choices, but you don't wants names ending in in, en, or an?

I actually like Gavin Joseph. I prefer Casey Avery though instead of Casen.

um no suggestions for a boy (kinda hard to think of a name to fit with derr...) but for a girl i really like the name tasia (like fantasia) dorothy or lillianna dorothy......... lol my name is brittany n my sisters is heather... just kinda funny that u have them right next to each other in names u dont want =P

I don't mean to offend anyone...my husband is obsessed with saved by the bell, and anything TGIF so those names are out - just don't like the idea of naming my kids after characters...

And Heathers was a prime time 80's movie with Shannon Doughtery

As far as the -in and -en go we love them but won't go with the middle name Derr...just sounds awful when you hear it all together...

thanks for the help though ladies - lilianna sounds great with dorothy and I love the name, two of our friends (in different circles just named their daughters liliana and Lily Anna  so that sucks
