Update on my neice's drama

So the guy told my SIL that the reason he got fired was because the store was expecting some bigwigs to be here this morning.  They wanted him to make sure his area was well stocked & cleaned.  He works until 7am and at 6am he gets called into the office asking why his area wasnt done yet.  He says its because he never got the stuff to stock the shelves and if they dont like then fire me because I'm not saying late.  So they fired him.

Well my neice told her mother that Steve was called into the office at 6am and the termination papers were already drawn up.

Ok conflicting stories right?  Well here's something else.  My neice's father got the accident text from the guy that was supposed to be for my neice at midnight saying he was fired and that she should keep working & keep her mouth shut.

Somebody is not telling the truth and theres a hell of alot more to this story than those 2 are saying.

    One red flag for me would be him saying he told them he wouldn't stay late to stock shelves.  WalMart would never ever ask someone to stay late.  They are sooooo against any one working more then their shift that you get "talked to" if you come back early (yes, I said early) from lunch or a break!

    Plus, like you said...the text went out around midnight.  He did something other than just not stocking the shelves.  Something's fishy in their story.

    If my aunt were all up in my biz-nas I would want to cut her. I really don't understand why you care so much about the details of how your niece's boyfriend got fired. Am I missing something here?

    She was working there while putting herself thru school.  She is all done & is now trying to find a job as a special ed. teacher.  She deserves so much better...I dont have anything against older guys but he's 12 yrs older than she is but she is the mature one in this so called relationship.
