NYC Girls- Bronx Zoo Question

Hey ladies-

We go to the Bronx Zoo every year- my kids love it- we love it. We're actually thinking about buying the yearly membership (it's only about a 3 hr drive for us and we like taking road trips so that's not a problem).

The thing is- we're thinking about going for Father's Day... do you think the zoo is likely to be super crowded or do you think it's like any other Sunday there?

I think summer sundays have all about the same sized crowds.  I don't think it'll be more crowded than usual.  Enjoy!  LOVE the Bronx Zoo - we have a membership - it pays for itself in 2 visits.

It may be more crowded, but just so you know that it is going to be very hot on Sunday and maybe thunderstorms. If you go, have fun! I haven't been this season yet.

 We're supposed to have the same weather up here. Hopefully they will change the thunderstorm part though. We haven't been yet this season either- but we're definitely planning on it if not Sunday in the next few weeks.

I think it will be crowded, like any other sunny weekend day, but the zoo is big enough to handle tons of people!!  Maybe consider packing your own lunch, so you don't need to wait on line for food.  (That would be about the only thing that you'd need to stand on line for)--that and maybe getting in the front gate.

My forecast for Sunday is 89 and mostly sunny!
