Re-introduction & pg after preemie question

Hi everyone! I'm Meg & haven't posted in a long time.  My son N was born at 33w 2d due to PPROM just over 2 years ago & spent 2 weeks in the NICU. He is a happy, fun, busy toddler.

I just got a BFP last week & should be 7 weeks along. I scheduled my first OB appointment which is in 2 weeks.  I'm wondering if the other pregnant after preemie moms were considered high-risk from the beginning of their pregnancy? Do you think I should try to get into the office sooner than what they suggested? Thanks!

I used MWs for my pregnancy w/DD, and I did ask at my 6 week pp appt about this. I was told that they would not consider me high-risk, and that they thought the odds of a second PPROM were just a little higher than the odds of it happening the first time. I was told I'd be getting more monitoring, though, and I'm sure I'd be pushing for more, anyway. DD was also IUGR.

I think you should definitely be considered high risk from the beginning.  Be sure to find a good high risk doctor, and good luck with your pregnancy!
