In lieu of gifts for a 1yr old

We are invited to 1yr old birthday party next month in which we're not supposed to bring kid gifts, but something to put in the child's Sweet 16 time capsule.

Any ideas what I could give this little girl???  I'm not super close to her mom, so we don't have pictures or anything sentimental like that to give.

This is totally a "thought that counts" kind of gift so I would definitely put a note explaining who you are (if you are not a relative). Then I would try to think of a cute way to include current pop-culture things that aren't necessarily expensive but kids are loving last year and this year (like maybe a ZhuZhu pet or those Crazy Bands) and if you could find an article explaning the "craze" to tuck in there all the better. Idk, GL!

do you have a pic of the girl. maybe you could frame. also, maybe just something really cute so she will remember. i think scent plays a big part in memory. and i just saw these cool scented bubbles on a site. might be a fun and different idea.
