Oh honey, that is a tough place to be in BUT ... some of those early betas are just slow risers and things turn out fine. No way to call this right now - fingers crossed for a BIG rise on Wednesday. Hang in there.
Wheee!

There's still hope IMHO. I've heard crazier stories that turned out perfectly -- you're moving in the right direction, and sometimes tiny ones seem to be just plain indecisive. There's just no way to say, unfortunately. I'll be thinking about you bunches through Wednesday.
Many hugs.
Pregnant with #1 with PCOS and LPD, success with mostly naturopathic treatments
Our Thanksgiving Day baby 11/22/07
Pregnant with #2 with LPD, uterine polyp/hysteroscopy, DOR (AMH = 0.17), 2 c/ps
Our early Christmas present 12/9/10
I've been waiting to hear if you were pg or not! So that is a tough place to be in. Its hard to have to wait til wednesday but it will probably give you an answer either way. I would defintiely hold out some hope, it could just be a slow grower. You have to have faith until you know something different, kwim? I will be thinking about ya!

I can see why you would be worried but the numbers ARE increasing, which is obviously a very good sign. Do you know how far along you are? Hang in there, Wednesday is around the corner!
I'm so sorry that you're going through this. It would be hard not to be upset. Your number did rise and maybe it was a late implanter or a slow riser. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you'll have an awesome beta on Wednesday.
IUI # 1 on 1/19, Beta 2/1 = BFN, Hysteroscopy on 2/15= 5 polyps removed, and cervix cleared, IUI #2 on 4/15 = BFP, Beta#1 on 4/30 @ 15 dpiui= 279, Beta #2 on 5/9 @24dpiui = 10,154, U/S on 8/5 = TWO GIRLS! Born 10/16 at 28 weeks.
Your beta did increase & double, which is good. I am hoping that it is just a slow climber and your next beta will be higher. I will be thinking about you.
to me, that seems like a low number for 20dpo'ish. But stranger things have happened, and I am wishing nothing but the best for you!!! It's a hard wait. This I know.
(and damn nurse, she should leave her tone outta that call!)

Nolan's betas were slow, as were this baby's. I think with this one, I went from 18 on a Friday to 36 on a Monday then to 60 ect... took a while, and eventually got going. The very very early numbers could just be your body taking a second to realize you are pg. Did your progesterone look alright?
Your p4 is high and your number is rising. It does seem very low - but all you can do right now is pray for that little baby trying to stick! I'll do the same!
i wish i had some encouraging words, but i don't know anything about betas (other than what i've read on here). i will just cross my fingers that this works out for you!!!
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
Betas are funny...like the other girls said, stranger things have happened and this baby could be just fine. My betas never totally doubled in the 48 hour period...what does betabase say?
I'm going to stay hopeful for you!! Hang in there.
PCOS, lupus anticoagulant, MTHFR (A1298C, one copy)
