Transverse baby

Was any of your babies transverse? I had my big U/S today and the tech said the baby was transverse but that was all she said about it.  After looking it up, it looks like i will be at a higher chance of having a c/s.  If any of you had transverse baby, did they turn allowing you to deliver natural??

DD was breech the whole time, DS was transverse til about 34weeks and then was head down.  The day he flipped over was HELL - I was contracting and cramping like a mofo but it was just him moving around in there.

Docs don't worry until 36 weeks - try not to worry about it, there is PLENTY of time for that baby to flip around multiple times.

I would think it's way too early to count on having a transverse baby.  Mine just turned sideways last week and I've heard they can move up until right before delivery.

Did she say there was an underlying reason for the baby being transverse?  Like your uterus or where the placenta attached?  If not, I wouldn't worry too much at this point.

My girls were all over the place.  I wouldn't even think about their position until 36-37 weeks, which is when they start running out of room to turn.

She thinks that I might of had a twin early on and lost it. And when i looked up transverse baby, that is what I keep finding can be a cause.

The dr should be calling me tomorrow and letting me know.

I would think that's because there is less room for two babies.  If I were you, I would stop searching on the internet and wait to hear what your OB says.  Of course, this is coming from someone who was searching like crazy last week when I realized DD was transverse

Mine went head down at 37 wks.

My DD was Frank breech my whole pg, I get plenty of u/s because of GD, but I didn't get really worried until about 35 weeks. I really wanted to avoid a c/s so I ended up going to a chiro. Don't know if it really worked or not but the day of my induction I decided on having a version and she had turned transverse. I went through with the version and ended up delivering vaginally.

I would at least research options, as some doctors have different thoughts on it, my doctor didn't do versions so I had to go elsewhere and really not worry too much until later on, yoiur baby has plenty of time to turn.

Michelle was transverse the entire time because i had complete placenta previa.
