I just read your comment about wearing white for photos...ugh.  I do remember now that the photographer said to not wear a lot of white.  I do have a purple sweater -- I'll post a pic so you can see.  I kind of like the purple/yellow complementary color thing.  What do you think? 

I don't want just wear the top by itself -- it's cut bigger under the arms and I'm not comfortable with that...

If this doesn't work, I'm not sure what to do...wish I had more options in my closet!!!

    Sorry, MN gal, lol. I like both pieces, but not together. lol. but that's just me. You can bring the white sweater, if it's overcast she might be able to work with it, but the most important thing is to feel good about yourself (says the black kettle uncapable of taking any piks of myself) and that will shine in the photos.

    Don't overthink it too much hon, you'll look great!

    Thanks for the reply :)  I didn't get your answer before we left, but I ended up not wearing the outfit anyway!

    It was SO hot here -- almost 85 degrees.  There was no way I could wear a sweater and jeans.  (Even though, I agree that I liked the look of the jeans...)

    I wound up in a  yellow top that I forgot I had and the capris.  We actually all wore different tops because when I put the yellow top on DD, it was way to big.  She ended up in polka dots.  And DH wore blue.
