There is a story on ABC news now on this.  There is also a groomer who is totally against it.  I think it's terrible!  Using a curling iron and dyes on pets?  

And I feel so bad for standard poodles.  They are hunting dogs!  I think the poor things look humiliated.  My dogs would shiit on the grooming table.

Indeeed! Though, we dyed our chiuahau (there's no way that is spelled right) blue one year for Halloween. She was a smurf. I didn't feel guilty until I saw this as an adult.

Imagine two artists sitting in their Studio thinking about originality.....is there ANYthing NEW. Behold...the acient art of Painting Cats. No...NOT harming a creature of God but Embelishing a living soul. We are truly enlightened by such craft in the name of Kindness. Kudos.....cat lovers..... OMG!  I took that quote from that page, and it cracks me up.  But I fall firmly into the camp of *against* animal painting.  Also on the ABC news story, was a cat painted/groomed to look like the creature from Where the Wild Things Are.

Oh, and it reminds me of Kendra when she was a "painted lady" and caught Heff's eye, lol.
