We love our Evenflo Triumph Advance. ?The strap system is awesome, and easy to adjust. ?Very comfortable for DS. ?The only thing I would think about doing different is going with the Evenflo Symphony 65 since it has a higher weight limit. ?Overall, very happy with it, and would recommend to anyone! ?Oh, it's a good price too!
I have 2 Britax Marathons and LOVE them!!! Albeebaby.com has a great deal on them with free shipping if you can wait the few days it takes to get to you.
We have the Britax Boulevard and think it's fantastic! I like that it has a 65 lbs weight capacity, side impact protection and my favourite, a no re-thread harness adjustment. It's also easy to get DS in and out of it and he always looks comfy.
I love my marathon. i got it at diapers.com for 220.00, but they have ones that start at 175.00. It is nice and cushy and very well made imo. I also thought that the gracco myride and the evenflo were so wide, but the marathon was not. we went to target where they had them all set up and could do a side by side comparison and put her in them. do you have a place like that?
I have the Boulevard and the Sunshine Radians. Love them both. THe boulevard is very cozy, and my 2.5 yr old can climb up into it by herself and latch the chest snap, but can't get out on her own! The Radians are good b/c they are narrow (I have 3 in a row!!) but nobody seems to have problems snoozing!

We have a Graco MyRide 65 and a Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL. I love them both, especially since they rear face for up to 40/45 lbs. The MyRide is one of the only seats to fit in the back of my smaller car.
Britax is supposed to be releasing new seats in August and the current models are being discontinued, so there should be sales coming up! I recently heard of $50 Roundabout 50s at Target, but it wasn't on clearance at our target yet.

EvenFlo Symphony 65. We got ours for $159 (with a 20% off BRU coupon). I like them because they're RF to 35 lbs., FF to 65 lbs., and a booster to 100 lbs. Really nice when you're buying 2 seats at a time. Plus, the Symphonys are a smaller seat, so they don't take up quite as much room as some of the bigger convertibles. The boys love them.
Our choice was down to the Symphony 65 or the MyRide 65 and it basically came down to (1) getting more use out of the Symphony's and not having to buy boosters later and (2) the size difference.
Re: f/u - since I have to switch to a convertible car seat... please help me out...
Graco MyRide 65
I love it! It's cheap (115 dollars on walmart.com). I know DS is comfortable in it. Easy to install. It fits in our car (bonneville.)
Britax Marathon (I tried several carseats and returned them to the store for one reason or another and this carseat seems to be the best)
1. Easy to get the baby in and out
2. When baby falls asleep his head does not fall forward
3. Baby seems comfortable
4. Straps do not get tangled
5. Easy to open/close the belt

This should be the case with all seats. If their head flops forward, you don't have it reclined enough. At least when it's rear facing.
