Maclarans on Gilt -- Q about recall/dangers?

Maclarens are on Gilt right now. I'm about to buy one. I guess they are older models, so my main concern is the recall and danger. I know that you can contact them and they'll send the fix (some fabric piece that goes over the hinge, I believe). What are your thoughts? Should I buy one?

 

(PS - I'm specifically looking at the Triumphs.)

    just my opinion. yes... just put on the fabric they provide. if the fix wasn't enough they would have pulled out all of maclaren for that model.

    The recall was because children were putting their fingers near the hinges while the stroller was being closed.  There is no danger to your child while he/she is in the stroller.  I have a Maclaren Quest and I love it.  It comes with the recall kit, like PP said it is just fabric that goes over the hinges.
