Let's go over this again...

DD has a really nasty cold with a fever.

To help alleviate her congestion etc, please tell me what I'm missing here.  So far I've:

Got a humidifier, given Tempra, used saline drops...

Anything else?  DD hasn't had a cold since she was 5 months and this one is really bad... she's already been up 2x since going to bed at 7p.  Her nose is so stuffy that she can't breathe properly...

You could give her a lukewarm bath to help bring down the fever.

Elevate one side of her mattress by sticking some rolled up  towels or something else soft under one end....and have you used the bulb syringe?  GL I know it can be so miserable.  DS had a cold for 3 weeks last month :-(

If you use an Angel Care Monitor you can still elevate the bed by placing books under the two crib feet on one side.  I know I couldn't go a night without my monitor on!

I've heard vicks for babies, on the bottom of the feet with socks.  Hope you LO feels better soon!

Vicks vapo bath is wonderful too.

Thanks ladies.  I can hear DD tossing and turning in her crib so if she's up again and not able to settle, I'll try some suggestions.
