Pregnant after a Loss

You ladies are quite convincing

Before I was pregnant and until recently, I was very much in the "vaginal delivery only unless medically necessary" camp.

A few friends with c-sections have recently talked about how wonderful their experiences were, which made me think a little.  I few stories about front tears didn't really help either.

But, there was a good reason for my initial stance, and many of you articulated it well in your posts below.  I will still continue to information gather on this, but definitely leaning toward letting nature take its course unless something goes wrong.

To be totally honest, I am so darn excited about having this baby at all that it really only matters a tiny bit how he gets here.

Re: You ladies are quite convincing

  • i just responded to your post.  i've experienced both and would choose a vaginal delivery any day!!!  of course if it came down to babies health and a c-section was the only option that's what i'd go with but i found a new ob and hospital just so i could try for a vbac next time.
