Target Up & Up wipes

Are they any good?  Would you say they are more like Pampers or Huggies ( or neither ).  Just wonderin'

Re: Target Up & Up wipes

  • I asked this question a while back. Someone said they were like Huggies so I bought some. They are not like huggies at all. They're thin and dry and horrible. I really wish I hadn't bought the 3 pack. I hate pamper's too and I think they're similar to them.

  • I made the mistake of buying a whole box of these. They dont hold moisture very well and they dont seem as thick, which cause a problem when you have a poopy diaper. I switched to the Huggies and will never switch back. We used the non scented at first, then moved to the sensitive skin ones. The deal might be cheap but you will go through them like toliet paper.
  • I love them! I would compare them to Huggies but I have never used Pampers wipes. I buy the large box of unscented wipes and they last me over a month. It's more up front but I get more overall.

  • I find them to be thin and dry out fast.  Although, dried out wipes make excellent tissues for runny nose, fyi.

  • Wow I'm surprised by the negative response to them. I found that the other wipes I tried were dry and wouldn't stay moist after I put them into a container. I find sometimes the only negative for the ones I buy are they are too moist. I love them. Sorry others had a bad experience with them.

Interesting.  I like them...we use the sensitive ones.  I hate the smell of the Huggies ones.  I agree that Huggies are thicker, but it really doesn't make that big of a difference to me.

I've actually found them to be incredibly wet.  In fact, at the bottom of a pack, I usually have to wring them out slightly before using them.

  • We use them... just in an old Pampers/Huggies container. I don't have any problems with them drying out or anything. I mean, it's wipes. How many frills can you need?
  • We used them (unscented) when baby first came home and he had the worst diaper rash ever,  it even bled.  We switched to the sensitive Pampers and Huggies wipes and haven't had bad rash trouble since.

  • I am surprised by these answers too! We LOVE up and up wipes. In fact the few times I have had to use huggies or pampers lately I have been reminded of how much better I like the up and up.

FWIW we use the ones in the purple and white package I think they are sensitive.... and they have always been wet enough.

  • We use them and love them. I've never had a problem with them. The only time they have dried out on me is when I forget to close the container. I think it's like anything else, some people will love them and some will hate them!

  • We use them, and I love them! I would agree that they are a bit on the dry side. I have a wipe warmer so I just add a cup of water to the tub and that helps moisten them up more. I like that they are a little thicker so I can grab a hold of that sticky poo that my DS loves to dish out. I used the scented wipes once and HATED the smell. I switched to the unscented wipes and couldn't be happier.
  • I love them!!! They are more similar to Pampers (they are made by pampers). They are huge and thick and great for faces and boogers and bums :-)

  • We love these too. They aren't as think but they definitely work for us. I don't have a problem with them drying unless I leave the pack open.
