Worried about Roxy

For the most part Roxy is a pretty timid (except when she is have an axiety/panic attack)

This morning she seemed different. It's kind of hard to describe and I know if I outlined what I thought was different you might all think I am crazy. I know that dog very very well and she was just acting a little off this morning. She was very calm and quiet, she was laying differently and wasn't even lifting her head when I was petting her and when I rubbed her side she didn't roll to let me rub her belly which she always does. She also didn't come and lay downstairs while I got ready for work which she normally does.

I want to play the "Mama knows when something is wrong card" but I think I will wait to see what the day brings before I go calling the Vet and sounding like a crazy person.

    Has she eaten anything strange lately?  Baxter gets like that after he sneaks cat food and before the diarrhea starts.

    Maybe she's just having an off day or feeling a little under the weather.  I hope she snaps out of it and starts acting like normal!

    Is it/ has it been stormy there?  Her stomach might be upset. 

    I would wait and if she is still off when you get home take her to the vet.  Of course, I am super paranoid as well and when my dog is acting weird I am taking her temp and checking her gums.  The old  vet assistant in me really comes out.

    Hasn't had anything strange to eat (that I know of but she hasn't been out of our sight or anything)

    No storms but even when there is a storm she is not afraid of it, just doesn't like getting wet in the rain.

    Our neighbors feed her treats so I wonder if maybe they bought a different brand?

    Storms make their stomach upset.  Something to do with the barometric pressure, that is why I was asking.

    strange. I never knew that. It was raining yesterday but not storming. I told D to keep an eye on her today so we'll see what happens.
