Hi! Anyone at Sheppard AFB?

We recently PCS'd to Sheppard AFB in TX... has been kind of a shock after having lived outside of Philadelphia/NYC for so long.  Just looking to see if there are any other ladies in the area who might have some local knowledge/advice/etc.  Any information/suggestions would be much appreciated! 

Also, if anyone could tell me where to get some good bagels around here, I would be forever grateful!  I am a bagelholic and these store-bought bagels just aren't cutting it!  hehe To make things worse I am craving carbs right now!

    I don't know a thing about Sheppard AFB, but I went there while my husband was in RFM school for a visit. It was August and it was HOT! I feel bad for you being pregnant and in that heat. Yikes! You might want to check and see if they have a welcoming crew and maybe you can get some info from them. As for the bagels, I would suggest Panera. Good luck at your new base!
