Ladies that have/had cysts - symptoms?

Did/do you know when you have ovarian cysts?  I have been having a lot of bloating and muscle pain when I go the bathroom (not like UTI, just like I have to push harder to pee) and just general uncomfortableness in my lower abdomen between my hip bones. 

Two of my sisters and my mom have a history of cysts, and I have sneaking suspicion that I do now too.  While trying to have Shaun, I had residual cysts from injectables, but never any on my own.

This is so weird b/c I am having the exact same symptoms. I have been having them for about 3 weeks. I went to the OB today and all of my urine samples were normal. They did an internal u/s and everything was fine and they did an exam and they found nothing wrong.

I am not on BCP and I have PCOS. My OB wanted me to take the Met since I wasn't going to be on BCP. I have not been good about taking it at all. He suggested that I start taking it more regularly b/c he thinks some of these symptoms might be from my diet and/or me not taking my Met.......and my levels being a bit off (insulin, etc.)

I did have a cyst burst after DS1 and it was very noticeable. It was some of the worst pain I have ever experienced. I was having constant lower abdominal pain for several days and then one day I was basically in fetal position on the floor. I thought it was my appendix, but it was a cyst that had burst.

I would go to the OB just to be checked out. It is super easy for them to do an internal u/s to tell you what may or may not be going on.....
