Pregnant after a Loss

Pediatrician recs

I don't have any friends with children. Where is a good place to find ped recommendations and reviews?

  • Your ob/gyn, your L&D nurses, post partum nurses......

Have you posted on your local bump board??  Might get some good recs there.

  • We only have 1 friend locally with a baby so we're not sure either.... we'll ask the MW at the next visit, and we've been asking every neighbor that we can as we run into them (we don't know too many, but now that it's getting nicer outside, people are around...). I'm also hoping that once we decide on a childbirth class, second time parents might have some names.
  • You might look into the local Sharp location. I love the one down here because they have seperate entrances and waiting rooms for sick kids and healthy. Everything is computerized, so if you are refered somewhere they can access all of the records. Also, since it's a larger practice they always have a doctor on call or available for a same day appointment.
