he has decided that he only likes carbs, meat and broccoli now. he will eat a ton of bread with cream cheese, cheerios, pasta, chicken or broccoli, and maybe some bananas, but besides that, he won't touch his fruit. any ideas for recipes to disguise fruit for him? TIA!
Re: how to trick my DS into eating fruit?
Does he still eat oatmeal? ix oatmeal with applesauce,
Or use applesauce as a spread on toast?
he actually never ate oatmeal. he's been feeding himself since 7 months (we do BLW). he used to like fruit, but within the past few weeks, he's decided that he hates it.
good idea about applesauce though! i might try that tomorrow! thanks!
is your LO teething? i'm blaming it on that, even though it might not make much sense. i baked an apple for him and put cinnamon on it and he ate about half of one apple, but for some reason, he always gags on apples. it's the only food he gags on. thankfully he doesn't choke, but it still scares me! we tried blackberries and cantaloupe this past weekend and the cantaloupe was too slippery and he just squished the blackberries and threw them all over the place. sigh!
