I remember when I got letters for DD's nursery some places were asking for a lot for one letter so I bought the letters from Ebay. Where did you get your letters?
I bought the letters for DS's nursery at Hobby Lobby. I don't remember how much they were...but since his name is really long I got medium sized ones. I wanna say they were around $1.39 each?
I got them at Babies R Us. I didn't want to have to paint them myself (DH would have noticed), so I wanted ones that were already white. BRU's are $6 each, but since I only needed two letters (D and A -- no need for two D's), I thought it was worth it.
I went to Michaels to get them, but of course they were all out of the letter A and D. So, I just went with the foam ones. They had them in blue and pink and they were on sale for 50cents each.
Re: Where to get the wooden letters D-A-D?
Micheals. Or any craft store. I painted mine. They were just natural wood, i sprayed them with white spray paint.
