Update: we had our big u/s on Friday and everything looks great! IT'S A BOY! Ups: Feeling baby move more every day. Wearing some of the new maternity clothes I got over the weekend. Downs: Not baby related, but we have a busy week ahead and I don't look forward to it. Is it Friday yet?

I have my amnio today and I'm very nervous about it

On a good note we get to find out the gender today which I'm just in awe about!  Plus I get to have lunch with h between the genetic and amnio appointment in my home town which I love.

I hate that it takes almost 2 weeks to get the results back!

I got some new maternity clothes that I really like from Old Navy

My updates:  We had our big u/s last Friday and we're having a BOY!!!  So, yeah, my guess/wish was totally wrong.  She also changed our due date to be 10/30.  Our next appt is this Friday, 6/11, at 9am.

We finally have started buying baby things... I held off on buying anything for so long, but now knowing he's a boy, we've gone crazy!  I was thinking that buying baby clothes for a boy wouldn't be as fun as with a girl, but Jeremy and I are big sports people.  There are sooo many cute "Mommy's All-Star" or "Daddy's #1 Draft Pick" kind of clothes.  LOVE THEM.

I'm feeling lots of movement now!  Once the u/s tech pointed out how baby boy is laying in my ute, I can feel him punching me all of the time now!  Definitely an awesome feeling.

Friends and family keep asking about what we're going to name him, and I've got random people calling us just to offer names.  For example, Jeremy's niece, who never calls us, called Jeremy last night just to give us some boy names she liked.  I guess that really isn't a thumbs down, but if it continues it's going to start getting annoying.  Btw, we are going to keep his name secret until he's born - for everyone IRL at least.  I doubt I can keep it from you girls.  :-)

  I'm so annoyed with my aunt.  She's unemployed and essentially broke, living with my gramma.  But she's 'so excited' for our baby, she's hitting up all these garage sales to buy him clothes.  Now, I'm not against garage sale clothing.  But I'm picky.  I don't want worn or old clothing - if I'm going to get something from a garage sale, I want it to at least look new.  That, and I don't think she understands the concept that my baby is going to be born in late October.  When it'll be cold.  So why is she buying short sleeves and shorts for a newborn????

+2 Weeks left till school is out for the summer, can't wait to have the kids home.

-Lots of drama going on around here lately, and it's stressing me out, although I really should just let it go and not let it bug me - some people just need to grow up.

-I still haven't bought anything for baby really, I guess we still have lots of time.

Last week we cleaned out baby's room! Now we can get started on painting.

Short weekend trip to see my family this weekend!

I had a huge headache yesterday. Not sure if it's allergies or heat. Yesterday was 110 - yikes!

Update: Had a low fluid scare that has left me on the lots of water, no caffeine, stay off your feet as much as possible program and means that I meet with the Peri every 2 weeks from here on out.

My sister is the MA for my OB and has been majorly b!tchy to me ever since my appointment on Wednesday. It's her immature reaction to being afraid for me but it makes me want to slap the *** out of her.

Last friday was V-day!

MIL surprised me yesterday and told me that she's throwing me a "virtual" shower next Sunday. Family members in 6 states will be on webcams to "celebrate" with us! AND DH arranged a trip for my mom and I to go home to visit with my side of the family in July, so excited!

Hi Everyone!

Up #1: I have my big u/s in 47 hours!!!!

Up #2: I met our new neighbors and we all hit it off! The wife is pregnant as well and has a DD 2 years younger than my DD.

Down #2: The bump wouldn't allow me to post.

Down #2: I had another spotting episode over the weekend.

I have a Level 2 ultrasound & meeting with the genetic counselor on June 17th. They schedule this test for all women of advanced maternal age (35+).

  We had our big u/s and it's a BOY!  More importantly, a healthy boy.

My sister and I went shopping and bought some super cute outfits for LO.

We still are getting nowhere with picking a name.

Everyone is suggesting names now and I don't want to make a big deal of it, but we're not telling anyone the name until the baby's born.  And I'm scared to tell them that!  We've been brushing off their suggestions (B/C we honestly don't like them) but DHs mom keeps saying "What are we going to name the baby?"  I want to scream...WE are not naming him anything, DH and I are.

my big u/s is next friday, june 18.  i'm on the fence whether to find out or not.  i've never been so confused in my life! dh would like to find out.  we didn't know with dd and it was so fun to have that moment at delivery.  i know it would be just as special w/#2.  ack!

2 ups, we are finally in our new house and all the yucky carpet is up!

2 downs, still long way to go to get the house where i want it and lots of unpacking to do.  not fun while pg.  i can tell this week is going to draaag.

I've started feeling movement!!  Which seriously makes me cry!!

Had a great 16 week appointment, fundal height is a little high, but we expected that, I'm up 12 pounds, bp is good and it looks like for the first time my uterus actually went to where it is supposed to be!

I developed a really bad case of the stomach flu early Friday morning.  Which started some bad cramping and some contractions.  So, I was put on bed rest through yesterday.  Luckily I am feeling so much better and my uterus has calmed down

Because of said bed rest I missed dd's last day of kindergarten and her last t-ball game   While it's worth it, it did make me feel awful

My next appointment is Tuesday, June 15 to have my first cervical length and growth u/s.

* Ups: There were so many last week because I was in Hawaii.  I also felt the baby move (just a little) for the first time.

* Downs:  DH barfed on our helicopter ride and I felt so bad for him (and sad we spent so much money on it!).  Having to come back to work today after a red eye.  Sigh.

 I'm in my 15th week!

 Vacation is only a month away

 Currently, I'm just not feeling confident about anything... the negative thoughts have swarmed my mind, and I'm over analyzing every single cramp and twinge I have. 

 I still can't find the baby on the doppler. I sort of wish I never would have bought the damn thing.

My big u/s and 20 week check-up is 6/28.  So excited!

Had the best girls weekend with my college friends!

My BFF is pregnant after a FET.  I want to cry every time I think about it I am so excited.

I had a breakdown on my gf's this weekend in my panic about being pregnant and actually really having a take home baby.  I realized I really don't believe its happening still.

I am so tired today I want to throw up.  Not at all productive.

24/25 wk apt:  Everything was good except I have yet another YI been doing pretty good though this is only my second.  Maintaning weight. 

Next appt: GD test 6/30

1. Baby is fine moving around (she ran from docs doppler this morning sooo funny)

2. Not to tired.

1. DH is still under the weather, but not really sick just asthma issues (which really isn't a bright side)

2. Found out the hard way that DD#2 doesn't like grapefruits (so sick I went to bed at like 8:30-9)

1. We got our washer and dryer finally in our place!! no more going to the in-laws to do our laundry!!

2. Nesting has kicked back in and my house is spotless!!!

2 downs:

1. Brady doesnt seem to want to be very active lately and its scarring me!! 

2. I gained like 5 lbs in 3 days!! yikes!

DH Felt kicks on Friday night!

20 weeks today!

Threw up this morning for some reason. And peed on the floor as I did it.  Awesome.

I'm up a couple of more pounds than I'd like to be at this point... gotta be super careful this week so it doesn't get out of control.

My next appt. is on Thursday. I'm excited to see my doc and talk about the fact that little man is measuring so big.

  I feel the baby kicking/moving all the time now. It's really reassuring and I'm going to miss it once he's out.

  We bought our carseat online and it should be delivered this week.

  My feet are swelling like crazy. The heat is not helping.

  I'm worried about how much weight I've gained since my last appt. It's not going to be pretty.

I have a monthly appointment on the 17th, but nothing big coming up!
