I was one of those "i will never drive a minivan' person :-P not reason really besides it being such a mom, grown up car (yes I know I am a mom and a grown up but still lol). But once we found it was twins...dh wanted a suv w/3rd row & I wanted minivan, they just seemed easier and more convenient to get in and out.

We bought a 2011 sienna on saturday and I LOVE LOVE IT!!!! It has so many gadgets and the power doors are amazing! and the space it great plus it drives great..much better than I would expect that size to drive. And I don't even feel like its that big...although I have been driving dh's 4 runner the past couple months.

I find it funny how much I love this car! of all cars...my last car was a honda accord but we just didn't have that connection lol this one is great!

Had to share because I see so many minivan vs. suv w.3rd row and I get it now :-) thanks ladies!

We are going to start looking at minivans soon.. we've already decided between the Odyssey or the Sienna..  I know they are coming out with a new Odyssey, but I don't think we can wait until Sept/Oct when they are releasing it.  My friend just got a Sienna and loves it!!

we went to honda drive the 2010...nice but liked the 2011 sienna better, of course with all the new stuff and body style. The salesman at honda said the 2011 odyssey wouldn't be coming until sept/oct :-( we expect these boys mid-sept and like you said...we couldn't wait : / I am usually a honda person but as soon as we drove the sienna, I loved it! But the new honda looks great on the website! They supposedly widened and lowered it a bit which were my main complaints compared to the sienna...the 2010 honda felt a little tighter to me inside than the sienna.

I was soooo anti-minivan.  I am pretty young (28), and I just felt like it made me look so much older or less cool (like I needed to wear "mom jeans" in order to drive it, lol).  But, when we found out we were having twins this time around, I finally gave in.  We tried out a few of the bigger SUVs, but we couldn't even fit the strollers behind the third row, let alone the dog, groceries, etc.  We ended up getting an '08 Sienna, and I LOVE it now.  It is so convenient -- I couldn't imagine driving anything else!  I finally just accepted that I AM a mom (and love it), so why was I fighting driving a "mom car" so much?

I LOVE mine too!  We went with the Honda O and got the Touring edition....it's REALLY nice!!  Never thought I would love it, but I do.  Makes taking them anywhere really easy (easier than it would be) and the back fits the double stroller ANd groceries!!
