Ugh, this morning SUCKED

DH had a complete and I do mean COMPLETE meltdown, so it wasn't really a fight. I let him have his meltdown and just STFU. It wasn't really aimed AT me, just ranting while stomping around the house.

I think he fed off my crankiness, our a/c doesn't work in our house all that well so it's almost always warmer than I'd like. I was all grumpy after doing the grocery shopping saying how much I hated our house and I couldn't wait until we moved.

Anyway, one of our dogs pooped on the floor (completely out of character btw), DH decided to have an utter meltdown over Xavier's impending arrival and the amount of animals we have (four dogs two cats) and how he can't deal with any of it and he'll never want to come home now and then left for work.

Um, ----don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out?

Men aren't supposed to have emotional meltdowns.

yeah seems as if he was way dramatic. I'm sorry hun.

Maybe he's just overwhelmed with everything happening and has been keeping it in? My Dh is all of a sudden super stressed about certain things too and... it weirds me out. Things that used to NEVER stress him out... It's crazy.

I hope he calms down.

i totally agree.

My DH is all of a sudden FREAKING out about money. I've always been the one that stressed over financial situations and he's taught me to just let it be, and not stress.... so its really weird when he's like, "omg what are we doing to do?!"

It's not like we can't pay bills or feed ourselves.... we just have a lot of housework to do before the baby comes (finish hardwood floors, install new carpet, paint, etc) and I think the pressure he's feeling is from the WORK part of it.

It's def not fun being on the other side.

I have to admit that this type of thing has actually taken place in our home recently . MH is a very calm and collected guy and this baby is definitely stressing him out. He is getting nervous about becoming a father and the idea providing for a family. I can totally understand this. That being said, I still don't put up with stomping and yelling. I usually wait until the meltdowns have passed and then we talk about it.
