Does anyone use a manual pump?

If so how long do you pump for when and how much do you get? I got a manual pump from the hospital and the LC told me to wait till week four to start pumping, but I could pump a little before then to relieve the pressure and I could make a little bottle. Next week it's DH and I four year anniversary and I would LOVE to have a little bottle before next week so I can stay out for longer then two hours!

I used a manual pump (Medela Harmony) the first 3 months to start a stash. In the beginning it would take me 20-25 minutes to pump 3-5 oz. As time went on, it took less time for 4-5 oz.

Now I use the PIS since I am back to work part time.

I had the little Lansinoh hand pump and loved it. It was perfect for relieving engorgement and creating a little freezer stash. I used to be able to fill one of the bottles it came with 6-7 oz in about 5 minutes on just one side. But I had (have) a very forceful letdown so as soon as it happened I could practically stop pumping and the bottle filled itself.

i have the advent pump and i get 2 -3 ozs each side when i pump.it takes about 15 min.
