What do you and DH do for a living?

Just curious and maybe it'll spark something for one of us who are "lost"!

I'll start...

I work at a LASIK surgery center doing eye exams and assisting in surgery

DH is a software engineer and LOVES it (yes I'm jealous he loves his job)

Funny enough, my DH is a software engineer (has always done government contracted work) and loves it too.

I'm an insurance agent with Allstate.

I work for a company that sells high end phone systems.  Not my dream job, but it pays the bills right now, and it's pretty low stress.

 

DH works for National Grid.

I am a SAHM and part-time grad student. I am 2 courses away from completing my degree in Higher Ed Administration.  Not sure when I will re-enter the work force.  I worked in commercial banking for 5 years before having children.

 

DH works for a family business.  They print and convert plastic packaging (i.e. Little Debbie wrappers, spunges, tortilla wrappers, etc.) He is a vice president of marketing and we are part owners of the company.

My husband and I both work in the mental health field.  He oversees a case management program and I'm the Coordinator/Supervisor for an independent housing program that helps clients find and maintain housing out in the community.

DH is a teacher and I am a School Counselor, but I don't have a job, so I'm kind of "lost."  I worked as an Academic Tutor this year (am out of work now b/c of the baby) but if I don't get a regular position, next year I will probably be a SAHM.

My husband does security at a local hospital.. it isn't his dream job and he has been trying to find work elsewhere (he has an associate's in criminal justice) but nothing has popped up yet.

I'm a SAHM (best.job.ever).  Before having Eva I was an early literacy specialist.

DH is a graphic designer/software developer.  His speciality is user interface but more often than not he is stuck coding and then he's miserable.  When he can be creative, he loves his job.

DH works for Sam's Club - he was a club manager, but now works for their Home Office here in Arkansas.

I also just started selling Madison Handbags to make a little extra money on the side!  I'm hoping it will help me earn enough money to supplement DH's income for my next maternity leave!

I work as a physical therapist with adults with developmental disabilities (3 days a week).  I used to ref soccer on the side or waitress, and I loved both of those jobs too!
