Vbac turned scheduled Csection

I was due on May 17th and since my OB would not let me go past my due date I had a scheduled C on May 18th (I pushed for that day since my kids would be exactly 18 months apart to the day:) ). I tried everything to make #2 come on his/her own, yes even castor oil and nothing worked so scheduled C it is.

I went to the hospital at 5:30am and was prepped for surgery. My first C was an emergency and the experience was horrible. This time around it went so smoothly and the recovery has been great. My "little" girl was born on May 18th at 8:05am weighing in at 9lbs 6 oz and 21.5 in.

As my OB was doing the C she was pretty shocked to see how stretched my uterus was and was pretty certain that if I did vbac it most likely would have ruptured. So in the end things worked out how they were supposed to. Hope this gives hope to those who are having a repeat C:)
