MoMs to be...what are you wearing on your feet?

I'm down to flip flops with fabric straps as the only thing that will fit on my swollen feet. I've tried other slide and thong type sandals that might be more appropriate for work but my feet are just too swollen. Some days in the office are okay for flip flops but this is going to get embarassing on days that I have meetings. HELP!!!

  • Right now, I'm in the hospital so I'm wearing socks. But before I was wearing my gladiator sandles a lot, super comfy and easy to get on and off.

  • Flip flops. I know how you feel... I was pretty embarassed wearing flip flops to work also. I just didn't feel professional but it's the only thing I could/can wear. Just tell yourself that people aren't looking at your feet but your fabulous baby bump!

  • The swelling hasn't begun for me.  I just bought new comfy shoes for work, and its flip flops when im not there! I even wore heels over the weekend!

  • Just flip flops... my feet aren't swollen yet, but I know they will be and am glad I can just wear flip flops all summer.  Last pregnancy I wore ugly crocs the last month because that was all my swollen feet would fit into!
  • I'm in flip flops all the time, too. Can you look for some that are a little dressier? I live in Florida so mine run the gamut from nice leather ones to my favorite J. Crew's that the dog tried to eat.

  • I'm either in flats or leather thongs for work.  I bought them a size bigger and so far they have been working.
  • I can't even fit into my nice flip flops anymore.. they're too tight and restricting for my feel.. so now I have to wear those nike flip flops that velcro at the top.  Looks totally terrible.. but there's nothing more that fits these fred flintstone feet Tongue Tied  I'm happy I only have at the most 10 more days to go.

  • I bought one pair of sandals that are a size and a half bigger than I normally wear and I wear them with everything whether they match or not.  :-)
  • I'm still wearing everything the same but mostly my closed toed flates (even wore 3 inch heels on Saturday night out to dinner).  Maybe it's still early for me, but I never had swelling issues with DD1 (and probably just jinxed myself).
  • I try to wear my tennis shoes with orthotics as much as possible. I've been struggling with restless legs almost since the moment I found out I'm pregnant. Now along with that I'm having leg cramps as well. I'm finding that the more I wear my tennis shoes the better my legs do at night. I miss my flip-flops and know I'll be in them soon enough, but I'm almost dreading it because I worry my legs will give me all kinds of issues.
  • I'm down to one pair of what used to be loose fitting flip flops.  My dressier flip flops are even too tight.  I wear the flip flops to work.  I don't care anymore.  I dare anyone to say anything!
