SIGH...I already miss my little boy...

So when I was 28 weeks pregnant I started a blog since we are across the country from our friends and family.  I figured this was the best way to keep them updated with pics/info on the baby watch and the baby once he was here.  Today I was updating it with our first pics from Syv in his baby pool (SO cute!!) and went all the way back to the beginning of the blog and read through it/looked at the pics...  I CANNOT BELIEVE how far we've come already!  He was such a tiny little man (well to me he was tiny, I guess 7lbs 11oz most people would not consider tiny...) and now he is already growing into such a big boy!!!!  It breaks my heart that time is already moving so fast, I mean I know I have a couple years til he is leaving for college, but it just reminded me that I have to cherish every day because EVERY DAY he is changing and growing so much.

Mommy LOVES you Syv don't grow up too fast....

    1. Great new siggy! Thank you!!  A couple from when we were visiting the fam in Ohio and I had to throw in the one of my first born!!

    2. I want to see the pics in the pool! They are on my FB page and blog (see next Q)

    3. There's one of mine in the pool...there's more on my FB if you want to see (you'd have to add me, though..my pics are set to private).Of course I want to be friends on FB!!  How do I find you??  Michael is holding his head up so well!!!  Syv does most of the time but I definitely couldn't have put him in one of those floaty things and not held him up yet!  Maybe I don't do enough tummy time???

    4. How's the AR?  Funny you should ask...yesterday I let daddy give Syv his medicine in the morning and when I got up I noticed on his changing pad in the family room there was a crushed up looking pill all over it (like daddy gave it to him and he spit it out all over) I said "honey, did Syv spit out or puke up his medicine this morning?"  he says "I dunno it was dark"....ALL DAY that child was fussy...I didn't want to give him more on the VERY SLIGHT chance that he had not spit it out so I waited til his night time meds to give him more : (  But on a day when mommy gives him his meds he is still doing great!!! How is Michael doing??

    5. I totally know what you mean!  I can't believe one of mine just graduated kindergarten and the other one's STTN already!  ::sniffle sniffle::  Syv had been sleeping for 5-7 hours a night and the last few nights I've gotten 8 or 9 hours!!!  LOVIN IT!!!  Especially because I go back to work next monday : (  But it does make me sad that STTN is just one more milestone down...  Time to start thinkin about the next one Daddy!!!

The spitting up while burping could totally be where he got that great neck control!!!  I think Syv's head is...hmmm...VERY LARGE...hmmm......like his mommy...so that could be why he is taking a little longer to get control of that thing!!!

I seriously cannot believe doctor offices sometimes, I mean SERIOUSLY????  I did laugh a little that they sent that letter to you, I mean COME ON....  I do Pharma Sales and work with OB offices and let me tell you, it is SCARY how many times I am in there talking product/knowledge (stuff that EVERYONE in the office should know) and I get blank stares.....S-C-A-R-Y  I'm glad you guys are going to a specialist, I was glad to finally talk to someone who knew what they were doing.  LMK how that goes, I didn't realize they could have up to 4 tsp!  We are on 3 a day right now and Syv weighed 12lbs 13oz at his 8 week appt (we have a BIG boy on our hands here...)  I'm glad the extra tsp helped him, makes life so much better for everyone when LO is happy : )

I moved Syv out of our room at 6 weeks, I wasn't sleeping at all because he is SO noisy in his sleep AND he kept waking up because of the dogs.  He went from sleeping 2 hours at a time to 4 hours at a time as soon as I moved him in there.  That was actually a good milestone for us because then Mommy was able to be a better mommy during the day and baby was happier getting more sleep at a time.  I do run like the wind in there when I hear his gagging noise at night though...not even once has he actually been choking/gagging/spitting up, just mommy hearing a noise and freaking out!  I put a pillow under one end of his mattress and it seems to be the perfect height to stop him from having episodes!!  Syv has just started laughing a little in the last week.  I videoed it and sent it to my mom so she could see, I tried figuring out how to get it on FB but I am technically challenged...
